What happens on a Wellness Retreat?
So many things! Morning light, invigorating yoga classes, delicious food, unexpected conversations, gorgeous sunsets, walks through tropical palm forests, endless vistas, joyful movement, fantastic music, the sound of lapping waves, shopping at colorful markets, warm ocean water, grounding soft sand under foot, sensational ice bath, connection, deep nourishing sleep, delicious massage, pool dips, tropical birdsong, hot tub soaks, sweat lodge ceremony, spiritual awaking, rediscovering ones essence, fun, fun, and more fun.
Three absolutely delicious meals are prepared daily from scratch using fresh, local and when possible, organic ingredients. Much of what is served is grown on Mar de Jade’s own 18-acre Organic Farm. The menu is mainly vegetarian with chicken and seafood options, plus special diets and food allergies can accommodated.
Cuisine
Mar de Jade sits on the shores of Playa Chacala, a small Mexican fishing village with plenty of charm that still retains a traditional way of life.
It has easy access to Puerto Vallarta International Airport, just 90 minutes south, yet feels worlds apart from the big tourist developments. The town and surrounding areas have much to offer; from jungle hikes, surfing, whale watching, boating and ancient petroglyphs, to the simple pleasure of playing on the soft sand and swimming in the year-round warm ocean waters.

Spa Services
Tao de Jade is a 17 acre Organic farm, just 15 minutes inland from Mar de Jade. Here they practice sustainable, organic agriculture and provide opportunities for participating in responsible environmental leadership while fostering a sense of community.
They grow tropical fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, edible seeds and free-range eggs.

All rooms have private bathrooms, natural bath amenities, hot water, in-room safe, mosquito screens on windows, ceiling fans and free WiFi. All rooms have air conditioning except for Dorm Rooms (Loft Rooms).
NOT Included: Airfare to Puerto Vallarta, Specialty Drinks, Spa treatments, Excursions, Airport Transportation and Gratuities.

OCEAN ROOMS
Ocean Rooms have an unobstructed ocean view and a balcony or terrace. Most are on third and fourth floors and require steps to climb.
Ocean Room (double occupancy) = $2950 per person
GARDEN ROOMS
Garden Rooms are ground floor and have a view of lush tropical gardens and a terrace
or outside sitting area.
GUEST ROOMS
Guest Room are simple yet comfortable rooms with garden or jungle views.
WOMEN'S SHARED ROOM
The women's shared room has 4 single beds, a garden view and a loft accessed by a spiral staircase.

Cancellation Policy
REFUNDS
• 60 days or more before arrival: Full refund minus a $250 administrative fee per
person.
• Fewer than 60 days before arrival: No refunds for any reason.
CREDITS
• 14 days or more before arrival: Full credit of your deposit, valid for 18 months, with
no cancellation fee.
• Less than 14 days before arrival: No credit, except under approved extenuating
circumstances.
• Once a credit is accepted, it cannot be exchanged for a refund at a later date.
• Credits are non-transferable and apply only to the original guest.
